
BAYARKU maintains a zero-tolerance position on bribery and corruption. This Policy applies to all employees, partners, suppliers, and customers across all business dealings.
BAYARKU SDN. BHD. is committed to conducting business with honesty, integrity, transparency, and accountability. This Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy sets out our zero-tolerance position on bribery, corruption, improper benefits, conflicts of interest, facilitation payments, gifts, entertainment, donations, and sponsorships across all business dealings.
This Policy applies to: directors, officers, managers, employees, interns, and representatives of BAYARKU; contractors, consultants, agents, and persons acting on behalf of BAYARKU; suppliers, vendors, service providers, logistics providers, marketing partners, and professional advisers; customers and users of www.bayarku.my where their conduct relates to orders, refunds, reviews, promotions, delivery, or customer support.
Gifts, entertainment, or hospitality must be reasonable, modest, given openly for a legitimate business purpose, not intended to influence any decision, and must not involve cash or cash equivalents. Excessive entertainment, luxury travel, hidden benefits, and secret commissions are strictly prohibited.
Store credit, refunds, discounts, vouchers, or promotional benefits must not be offered, approved, requested, or used as a bribe, secret benefit, or improper reward. Customers must not submit false evidence, fake claims, or misleading information to obtain refunds, store credit, discounts, or other benefits.
Extra care must be taken when dealing with government officials. No person covered by this Policy may offer, promise, give, request, or accept any gratification involving a government official for the purpose of obtaining or retaining business, securing approvals, or gaining any improper advantage.
All employees, representatives, contractors, and business partners must avoid actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest. Any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest must be disclosed to BAYARKU as soon as possible.
All transactions, payments, refunds, store credit adjustments, supplier invoices, discounts, and business records must be recorded honestly, accurately, and completely. No person may create false records, hide improper payments, falsify receipts, or misclassify payments or benefits.
Any person who becomes aware of actual, suspected, or potential bribery, corruption, fraud, conflict of interest, or breach of this Policy should report it as soon as possible.
